THE OBSESSION: 2025 MAKEUP FAVORITES
The makeup products I was obsessed with all of 2025
Welcome to ‘The Obsession Edit” This series is where I share all of the things I’m currently obsessed with. To wrap 2025, This weeks obsession is recounting all of the makeup products I loved this year.
2025 is where I feel like I really honed in on my signature makeup style. For me, It’s all about clean, luminous , radiant skin, sculpted bronzed skin, and pop of blush, and plump pout. Here are all the product that made my heart flutter in 2025
Ami Cole Foundation Stick - Unfortunately this product and brand is now defunct, but I can’t talk about my favorite base products and not mention the Ami Cole foundation stick. This color match set the bar shade matches. I wear shade 240 in the stick and I’ve never been able tot find a shade match as perfect for me. Truly and incredible product. I believe some Sephora may still have stock online.
Victoria Beckham Beauty, Foundation Drops - Is a foundation ever worth $110? I’m not sure, but I do know that I will willing spend it on this Victoria Beckham Beauty by Augustinus Bader Foundation Drops. Similarly to to the Ami Cole, This is the most perfect shade made for me. Not too neutral, and not too warm – just perfect. It looks like skin, incredibly hydration, and super lightweight.
Dior Beauty Foundation Stick - I love foundation sticks for the ease they bring to my makeup routine, this one from Dior is stunning on the skin. It blends effortlessly and you can build up the coverage or lean more sheer. The shades and undertones could use a bit of expansion but I do enjoy using this.
Armani Beauty, Longwear Skin Tint - I was actually introduced to this product via a partnership I was doing with Armani Beauty. I love this skin tint so much, it was my go to base product during the summer and now well into the winter. This truly looks undetectable on the skin. Super light weight, good coverage, easy to blend.
Danessa Myricks Beauty, Yummy Skin Skin Tint - Danessa Myricks can do no wrong in my eyes. Her formulas are innovative and really created to cater to melanin-rich complexions. This skin tint in fact, Yummy. Creamy, buildable formula, great shade range and undertones.
FYI: Concealers are the most used product in my makeup routine, so this list may be a bit extensive.
Victoria Beckham Beauty, Concealer Pen - Another gorgeous product from VB Beauty. The shade and undertone of this concealer is gorgeous. It perfectly neutral with a bit of an olive golden undertone. Provides the perfect amount coverage, brightens, and blends beautifully.
Charlotte Tilbury, Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer - This has been one of my favorite concealers for years! This lives up to its name. Blends beautifully on the skin, has a radiant and luminous finish. Incredibly lightweight while providing great coverage.
Westman Atelier, Vital Skin Concealer - This is a true full coverage concealer, which I wasn’t expecting from Westman Atelier! I love this concealer for no makeup-makeup days. It’s perfect to spot conceal all over the face to create a flawless base. This also looks good under the eye for those that need more coverage. The texture is creamy, and blends easily onto the skin
NARS Soft Matte Concealer - This is my lazy day makeup product! when I want to look pulled together, cover blemishes, have a little coverage under the eye – this is my go-to product. This is also great for guys who want a little coverage but don’t want to look like that have on makeup. Because it’s soft matte I can go without setting it, but it also plays really well with powder.
Makeup By Mario, Surreal Skin Awakening Concealer - This is a true full coverage concealer that still manages to not look cake. However, less is more with this concealer. Because it’s so full coverage, applying too much product can lead to looking unnatural on the skin.
Danessa Myricks, Yummy Skin Lift & Flex Concealer - Truly one of the most underrated concealers on the market. The shades help color correct + conceal at the same time. It’s creamy, lightweight, easy to blend, and looks like SKIN
Tower 28, Swipe Serum Concealer - This formula surprised me. I usually hate “serum” based concelears as I usually feel like they give absolutely no coverage, but this on gives great coverage, is hydrating, and the shades are beautiful and flexible.
I feel like 2025 was the year of blush – especially for me! I’ve never really be crazy about blush, but thanks to my friend and incredible makeup artist Painted By Ester – I really got in my blush bag this year. Here are a few that I reached for all year.
POWDER BLUSHES
CREAM & LIQUID BLUSHES
Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Color Fuse Glassy Blush in “Glassy Clove”
Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Color Fuse Glassy Blush in “Glassy Cinnamon”
Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Color Fuse Glassy Blush in “Glassy Cayenne”
To be honest, I’m pretty much a creature of habit when it comes to powders. Because I have dry skin, once I find a powder I love – I stick to it. 2025 was the year I discovered some of my favorite bronzers. Before, I would just use the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Setting Powder in the deepest shade to bronze and contour. But once I discovered the Victoria Beckham Bronzer Palette, I haven't been able to stop using it. It’s the perfect warm shade without going to red or orange on the skin, and the formula is smooth, blendable, and natural.
FACE POWDERS
Charlotte Tilbury, Flawless Finish Setting Powder (shade 3) - The best setting powder I’ve ever tried. Great for dry skin and leaves an airbrushed finish.
Rare Beauty, Tinted Pressed Setting Powder (Honey) - Love this to set the entire face, but can be a bit cake under the eye. Beautiful flawless finish.
Fenty Beauty, Bright Fix Instant Brightening + Blurring Powder (Peach) - Such a great brightening powder for under the eye, smoothes and brightens.
Pat McGrath Labs, Skin Fetish Sublime Blurring Powder (yellow & peach) - Obsessed with these powders for under the eye. Gorgeous, smoothing, and blurring the under eye.
BRONZERS
